Thumbnails disappear after opening an image

Post by al-henry60 »

Is there a way to fix the software in Photoimpact 11 so that the thumbnails you have browsed to don't disappear after opening an image? Right now I always have to hit the SHIFT O sequence to get the directory back.

I am an expert user in PSP and moderate user of Photoshop. I decided to download and try out this software . I teach photography and am always on the lookout for software on behalf of my students.

Thanks.

YES, press the F8 key. (Edited)

If you want a single Image on the Desktop, toggle the Document Manager with F7.

Or, better yet, create an Album and store all of your images and Thumbnails. You can have both programs open at the same time.

I had not hought about it before since I don't use the Browse Manager, use the Ulead Albums instead. However, when you hit the F8 key to bring up the Browse Manager, you can dock it to the right with the other palettes and have a copy at your immediate disposal.
