Cutting out video parts

Post by tidenburg »

Im making a movie with halo and after realising that VS 6 is terrible ive brought VS 8 off of amazon!
Now ive got that all fixed and weve filmed etc, etc the bullet count and radar etc, etc are still there. Is there a way to overlay a border which kinda trims off some edges so some parts cannot be viewed???

if it helps i have Adobe Flash 8

halo ?? , bullet count ??? , radar ????

are we talking the same language here.

If you want to cover something or create a border then just create an overlay image with transparency and put it in the overlay track - images with transparency are typically .png or .tga types.

have a look at the 'Screen Views 1' page on my website for some ideas
