Finally solved my VS9 audio/sync video problem

Post by teko92 »

Hi,

I scanned lots of posts with no success but finally found a workable solution.

I am using a Sony recorder and use the "import from DVD" feature in Videostudio to import the video-segments. They come in mpg format and when I then put them together to make full DVD, they occasionally end-up out of sync. I can take for instance 3 trimmed segments from the same mpg file and the first and the third turn out fine while the second gets busted.

I found a solution now never to use the trim feature in VS9. I trim inside the program but then I use "save trimmed video" and then import again the new file. My DVDs now work flawlessly.

This procedure should however be needless provided that VS9 worked the way it was supposed to.

I used to have the same problem untill I installed the latest patch for VS9.
I can now edit a 2 hour mpg and multi trim commercials (about 10) from my content and save as mpg. No more out of sync problems.
