Video Capture - Not Responding

Post by jfroman »

I am hooking up my Canon ZR600 through a firewire port, setting it to play and turning it on.

I open DVD Movie Factory 4 (yes it is patched) and start a new project.

I select the Capture Videos icon can and the Capture Video window opens.

The system then gets really slow and if I select anything on the Capture Video window, I get an hourglass and eventually a Not Responding is added to the title bar.

If I am patient (the system is horribly slow), I can get the Task Manager opened and kill the two Movie Factory processes.

The Capture Video window does not show a Source or Capture mode.

Please help.

have you tried to open Movie Factory BEFORE you turn on the camcorder?
