Auto add Chapter

Post by dannyp »

I am using WS for 2 years already and never Used the "Auto Add Chapters".
Lately I tryed it for the first time with the "By Scene Detect" option and encountered a strange behavior:

which ever sensitivity I chose,be it "0" or "100",scaning the movie
ended up with chapter every 30 sec. or so.

Any Idea anyone?

You don't say what format your file is. Some formats (e.g., WMV and some other very compressed ones) will not split by scene. It works for me with DV1 AVI and even MPEG-2 clips at 60-70%.

Sorry For that.
The Files are compliant MPEG-2.

Scene detaction does work but even on sensitivity "0" it creates chapters
is points that there is no apperant scene change.
Thanks again

When you edit your work with MSP 8, you can select the orange Chapter Cue's. When you creat your work, a smaal file is added to your created file.
In DVDWS2 when you select split by scene, the chapters are as according to the settings in MSP8
