overlaping subtitle problems

hi

i receive this message when i start converting:
is there a way to correct this???? what would happen if i ignore this message and just keep on converting????

Stream 1 is overlapping

Title name: 4
Stream 1 is overlapping

Why the duplicate posting? It is not necessary.

Overlapping means that you have more than one subtitle occupying the same frame. This is illegal.

To correct this on the Add/Edit subtitles screen at the bottom left of the screen you will see the Start and End times.
The Start on the line below must be after the End time of the line above.
