hi

i m converting 6 avi file (700mb) for one whole night but only 30% of the file 1 has been converted.
is there a way to speed it up????

Not if your source files are divx/xvid videos -- is that what they are :?: :?:

If you can convert them to uncompressed before bringing into DWS, then the conversion to mpeg process would go faster (but you will need alot of space for uncompressed).

I always "decompress" them with ConvertXtoDVD First.

It is fairly quick and creates a DVD (albeit a bit naff) Then generally rename the VOB file to MPEG.

I then use DVD Workshop 2 to make a proper DVD!
