Create Chapters

I figured out how to create chapters from the Burn menu, but is there a way to simply create trim points in the editor and simply ask the program to automatically make these the chapter points?

Not with VideoStudio.
This is one of those extras you get when you upgrade to its bigger brother Media Studio.
