Hi friendly users,
I am using VS9 (started years ago withVS5).
After having created video files as stated in the sticky messages, I have created a DVD.
The DVD consists of 4 video files. When playing the DVD at the end of aecg videofile the last picture freeze for awhile before the next videofile is being played.
Any suggestion how to play the different videofiles smoothly?
Thanks for your feedback Hans

How about placing 3 seconds of black color clip at the end of each video.
Include a crossfade transition so the video fades to black then any temporary freeze whilst the DVD "swaps files" shouldn't be visible.
BUT, before you do that lets think what is causing the freeze up in the first place.
What bit rate are you using - my bet is it's too high.

Hi,
If you watch a commercial dvd (dual-layered) after about
1hr and 4 to 8 minutes the dvd player will switch layers.
In the movie they hide this if possible between scene transisions or
a complete fade to black etc like posted above.
If in the movie it's not possilbe because of to much action you will
even see a commercial dvd switch layers with a slight quirk or pause.
The same is true if the player has to load in another video which is
your case. The best solution is create ONE mpeg file so the player
see's a continuous stream which is the same as a commercial dvd.
Break the 4 videos into chapters if you need them separated.
Hope this helps,
MD
