I am having a problem with VS9 when adjusting sound across the boundary of a clip. It will only adjust in one clip at once, so the sound stays at the same level at the join.
The problem is that it is impossible to grab the handle at the start or end of a clip because the yellow band obscures it.
How can I (say) reduce the sound level for a section that goes over one or more clip joins?
Hope someone can give me a pointer. I am really enjoying using this super software!!!

Hi Richard
Using the rubber banding can be a little tricky.
1 / By expanding the timeline fully to view each frame you have a better chance of getting hold of the last point.
2 / You can use the volume control level top left to adjust the volume from 100, up or down.
3 / You could use fade in / out. This will position the last point to zero.
4 / When in rubber band mode, play the project, in project mode. Drag and hold the vertical slider to control the volume level.

I had the same problem and it was driving me mad...my solution was quite simple and worked for me, maybe it will for you.
Go to the audio track you want to edit and move the mouse until you see the arrow, towards the middle of the timeline, then just drag it all the way off the clip, this ensures you're at the end.
You can place additional points as desired.
