CD/DVD Bruning Engine Update

I recently installed UVS 8.0 and added the 8.01 update per Tech Support. I just noticed they have an update to the CD/DVD Burning Engine, the latest around July 04. How can I tell if I have the latest in my software? I am not having problems but at least want to check so I will know.

You will find this statement on the Burning Engine Update Web page ;_

"Please compare the versions of the burning engine, ULCDRDrv.dll, in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ulead Systems\DVD directory. If it is newer or the same as the published one, it's not necessary to update it again. To check the version number, right click on the file and select the "Properties" and "Version" tab. "

You can check for yourself if you have the latest version.

however if you down load it and look at the files to replace some have the same version number

but it is not clear whether you need to DLL+2 or which version of the DLL+10 you need. If it is only one version why have they not removed it? Also i thought the latest patch included this anyway?!?

Thanks for info. I looked at and I have the version 3.6.15.239 dated 06/07/2004. I note their is a later one but since I am not having any problems I assume I should stay with the one I have. Do you agree?
