Video Editor won't load
Within the last couple of days I installed MediaStudio Pro 7VE from the disk supplied with PC Advisor. Everything seemed to be working fine until today when I tried to load Video Editor. It started to load and got to "creating audio filters" and then stopped responding. I have tried unistalling and re-installing but it's still the same. The only thing I have done is install Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0. Can that have affected it. Is there any way forward ?
And I bet it showed 85% when it stopped. You have incompatible DirectX filters. If you do a search of this forum, you will find a lot of detail about this; that way, I don't have to repeat it all again.

Take a look at this post, the problem in this post was caused by something completely different to yours but view my posting headed
Boy O Boy was this a tough one.

This may or may not help. It's just a pointer to another possible cure.
