Burned DVD's freeze
I have a problem with my burned DVD's freezing at one or more places. I am using Video Stuido 9 which is up to date on the updates. The computer is fine. I don't have this problem with all of the discs I've burned but the problem doesn't seem to be consistent. I've tried burning the discs at both the lowest and max burn speeds. There is nothing else running on the pc, no screen savers, Nero, Roxio or anything that might interfere. In some cases I've re-rendered and burned again and that seems to work. Is there a particular setting I should have set in a specific way or configuration I should have before getting to the burning stage. Also it seems since I've installed the latest update the time has increased significantly to convert video titles. I'm more concerned with the freezing, I can live with the time. Thanks for any assistance.
When you create your DVD, what video bitrate and audio type/bitrate are you using
Try to customize the settings to have a Video Bitrate about 6000kbps (or lower, but you will experience a hit in quality when you use really low bitrates), and Dolby Digital audio at about 192kbps. That might help...
