u32Cfg - VS9 won't start after installing MP4 and HD support

I have VideoStudio 9 and installed the free HDV and MPEG-4 plug-ins(1) but once I did that when I try to start VideoStudio 9 now I get an error with the message "The security information is invalid or has been modified. This program will be terminated" with a window title of u32Cfg. I can't find my original install files (I bought it online/download) and I don't see any way for me to re-download it so this software is pretty much useless unless I can get this to work again.

Any advice? The comapny's direct support is really poor and unresponsive so I'm hoping someone in the community will be able to help me out.

Firstly please complete your system details on your profile page.
Then there would be no need for me to ask if you are using Windows XP and so are able to try the System Restore function.
