Hi everyone,
My first post in this forum. I recently installed Video Studio 9 and am fairly new to Video Editing. I have been trying to capture from my Sony DCR TRV-22 Handycam and burn to DVD with the highest of quality. I have a 42 Inch Panasonic plasma, and have found that I get better results by switching my DVD player to Interlaced rather than progressive...which is fine..however all my movie DVD collection looks better on progressive. So I was wondering if there was a way to change the setting in VS9 to givr better results on my plasma when my DVD player is set to progressive...(saves me having to switch all the time). My handycam is NTSC as I bought it in Taiwan...and living in Australia eveything else is PAL...which is fine again, but I had my plasma calibrated to PAL standards, and it would be nice to convert my home videos to PAL...
Sorry for the double question....
