Multi-trim problems in trial MediaStudio Pro 8

I cannot seem to make multi-trim work in the trial version of MediaStudio 8. When I try to trim a second clip and insert a "Mark-in" point, the previous tri selection vanishes. Is multi-trim disabled in th trial or am I doing something wrong?

Multi-trim works fine in the registerd copy of MovieFactory 4 that I use.

Are you also selecting the mark out before you select another mark in?
You have to mark in/ mark out / mark in / mark out etc.
