Hello from Austria
I have the following problem. (Ulead Powertools(Workshow)2.x)
I make photoshows and videos (format PAL 16:9) in external programs.
I import these .MPG files, create a menu and burn as PAL DVD.
When I play back this DVD on an 16:9 TV (I already tried different types)
all my photoshows and videos are played back correctly in 16:9, only the created menu (from Ulead) always shows up in 4:3.
Have I done something wrong?
Is there any possibility to get the menu in 16:9 as well?
Thanks in advance

16:9 Menu
Unfortunately, DWS2.x does not let you specify 16:9 menus.
But if you are familiary with tools such as IFOEdit or PGCEdit, you can burn the DVD to your hard drive, then modify them using those free tools.
It can work in alot of cases (I remember someone having a problem with this procedure though).
Regards,
George

Hello GeorgeW
Thanks for the fast reply.
Yes I have tried with "IFOEDIT" and it works, but if you want to have a not stretched menu, it is a lot of work.
Therefor I thought that there is another possibility within Ulead Powertools (Workshop). If the program specs say that you can work with 16:9 I would have assumed that the menu is also 16:9!
Thanks again and have a good day
