Burning Question

Post by reinhold »

Having entered all the data required such as format (PAL)
menu chapters, anti-flicker selected etc,
I find the NEXT button is not selectable,
therefor it is not possible to burn.

I am using VS9 which, apart from encountering an error and having to close quite often, is excellent.

Any clue would be appreciated.

How many videos do you have on your timeline?

Hi George

[quote="GeorgeW"]How many videos do you have on your timeline?
In theory, I have two, but the second is split into five clips.
There is also one title and five transitions.

Total duration is 14' 35"

Hi

Do a short test,

Start a new project.
Insert a video clip from the library. (Use VO1)
Go to Share--Create Disc

I see the video clip in the ‘video studio create disc’ window.
The NEXT button is available.
I can add chapters etc and the NEXT button is still available.
What do you see?

If this is ok then I suspect your video files.
This test does not conform to the recommended procedure but will establish if the NEXT button works.

Return to your project.

Right click the clips in the first window and select ‘Media Clip Properties’ What are they?
Do this for all clips.

Are you following the recommended procedure re :-- http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic. ... a2d50903d1

Hi Trevor

Thanks for your reply.
I shall try out the procedure you describe,
probably tomorrow,
and report back.

Hi Trevor

Following your advice I discovered the problem lay with
'use first clip as introductory video' box, which I had clicked.
When I unclicked it, the NEXT command became available again.
I think this was because I had used a clip which, being from the library,
was an.avi.
