Is MSP more stable than VideoStudio 8? I spend a lot of time fixing OOS conditions during DVD burns. Does it worked as advertised? I am thinking about upgrading to MSP. The MSP trial version errors out on my PC so I can't try it.
Also, anybody know when the next MSP release is due out?? Should I wait for the next release or buy now (assuming you folks recommend it)
I want video editing software that actually works. Both Ulead Video 8 and Pinnacle Studio 9 plus do not produce reliable DVD output. I spend more time fixing the technical issues than working on my projects! I would glady move to the mid-tier video editors IF THEY WORK.

what brand of dvd burner are you using? you could make sure you have the latest firmware updates for your dvd burner, be careful doing this, if you put on the wrong firmware, you could ruin your burner.
from your post id say you want an all in one type of software. video studio 8 and pinnacle 9 are great for editing and capturing. how ever when i want to burn to DvD, i use either Nero, or Uleads dvd workshop.
i dont use the dvd burning capabilities in the video editing/captureing programs. they are not intuitive enough for me. Pinnacle also makes a really good Dvd authoring software.
