Renaming a clip

I started a project, added a clip, added chapters. Now I want to rename the clip's .mpg file. When I do this MovieFactory 4 can't find the clip (of course) -- how do I tell MF4 where the clip is?

Use the Add Video icon on the Add/Edit media screen to add the renamed .mpg file to your project, then delete the original.

if i do as suggested won't i lose all the chapter info associated with the clip? Isn't there someway to preserve that info?

Yes you will lose the chapter info.

If you want to have the clip saved by another name, copy it and rename the copy.
