I would like to create a "Flashing" text effect for an ad banner using GIF Animator. However, the max size alowable is 70K. I know I can create several frames with and without the text to create the flashing, but this makes the file too large. Is there a way to "automatically" create the flashing text without creating multiple frames so I can keep the file size smaller?
Thanks,
Bret

If all you want is to have the text blink on, then off, two frames will do it. Just change the frame properties to have the frame duration last longer - try a value of 50 for starters, and play around with it.
Use the Optimization tab, too. Try using less colors in the palette. You can also optimize by desired file size, too. My web site has plenty of info there, too.
