I paid for it after the demo expired, got the DVD burning update to run, but the main upgrade patch won't work. Any fixes? The windows installer is version 3.1. VS9 and the patch are on the D drive.
Also, any free goodies to d/l with the "real" version, besides the ipod video stuff? Thanks.

I have the same question
I downloaded the patch and it tells me that I don't have Video Studio 9 installed. I even moved it into the same folder as Video Studio 9. However it still insists that I don't have it installed. I got my program on a CD with my new hardware from ADS Tech DVD ExpressDX2.
Any suggestions ??

I suspect that if your version of VS9 came with the ADS device, then it is only an SE version. These are cut down 'special' versions of the program which are bundled with hardware and have some features missing. I am not specifically certain about VS9 SE, but in the past, patches and updates did not work with SE versions, only the full version.
