hi, posted this before;
When I am in storybook mode,[Ulead 9] I click the small "enlarge' icon on left side in order to see more rows of clips and everything freezes.. I have to "end program" This is the only technical problem I have with Ulead 9
Is this a glitch on my end or Ulead 9?
My install of 9 is boxed disk.

I doubt that anybody knows the answer to this (which is probably why you didn't get an answer before
) - I imagine (could be wrong
) that almost no users on this forum uses storybook mode, we all use timeline mode, so you will be unlikely to get an answer one way of the other. I just tried creating a small project in storybook mode and tried the enlarge icon - it worked OK for me, but that doesn't really prove anything since I only used about 6 clips to get to that stage.
Perhaps if you think about the following questions you might be able to answer the question yourself:
1. does it only happen with one particular project?
2. does it only happen after I have X clips in the project?
3. does it only happen if I have a particular clip in the project? i.e. just throw together a quick project with some randomly selected clips and see if the problem still occurs if it does then try another completely different random selection.
Otherwise all I can suggest is that you think about changing your workflow to doing your editing using timeline mode - it is really the more powerful and useful view since you have access to the overlay track, the audio track etc etc.

storybook view
yes, I agree..
I started out using storybook but am using the timeline view most of the time now... I think I discovered this glitch when I added about 15 - 5-10 second clips to a project at the end and then wanted to move them more to the front of the project. Since I was moving them 1 clip at a time and they are so small in timeline, thought it would be easier to see them all in storybook mode..
btw:
I did add a few random clips to a new project just to see if it would freeze up when I clicked Expand and it did.... Just one of those glitches that are not all that important... thanks for the help......

Hi
Another way to move clips is to use the library.
Drag the clips that you want to move to the library, this will create a thumbnail copy. then delete them from the timeline. You can use Shift + Click to select multiple adjacent clips.
Now simply drag the clips back from the library to the front of your project.
