What videos on YouTube are not grainy? YouTube heavily compresses the video. They limit you to the size of the video you can upload, then they compress it even more. What you see is what you get.
I insert the utube url for the video into a site called http://vixy.net.com and that will convert the vids to .avi. Then I use a program called EZ AVI to WMV converter. You get better resolution that way. Hope this helps.
