No PNG Transparency Option

Post by mcfallison »

I was using the Ulead tutorial on how to create a text overlay with PhotoImpact for import to Videostudio9. I found it in the tutorials section for VS9.

When I get to the part where the instructions say to use the transparency option in the optimize PNG dialog box, I have no transparency option in that dialog box. Has anyone else had this problem?

I am using PhotoImpact 11.0.0.1.

See http://www.ulead.com/learning/vs/vs9_07_1.htm

Thanks.

You should have posted this to the PI forum rather than the VS one.

Which workspace did you select to work in? Advanced? Surely not, otherwise you should have the option.

Please provide a step by step record of what you are trying to do and how you go about it.

Sorry. I thought this was a problem more likely encountered by soomeone using VideoStudio and the tutorial was in the VideoStudio section.

I am working in the advanced mode. After recreating the incident, I realized that although there is no transparency option, the transparency does occur in the clip when viewed(?)
