Photostudio 9 crashes after adding an MP3-music file

Any ideas so I can prevent this from happening? In XP Event Viewer the event 1000 occurs with messsage "Faulting application vstudio.exe, version 9.0.0.0, faulting module uvmp3.vio, version 8.0.0.0, fault address 0x000063be."

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

It has been discussed on the board many times that certain MP3s (or probably the codecs used) can cause problems in VideoStudio. A common solution is to convert the offending MP3 to a WAV file.
