I have several wmv files in my C drive and i wanted to create disc.
So, using the "edit" function in VS9, I opened all files and drag and drop into the storyline. I then added titles each video clip.
After which, I selected the "Share" function and selected "create disc" , the number of titles =1 and it is the 1st video clip that has been selected as the output. What happened to the rest ?

Hi Pawpet,
They are all there. They are being combined into 1 video. If you want each of them to be seperate movies then you must render each of them seperately. However you can create Chapters, having each of the clips be a different chapter.
Now before proceeding it appears that you are not following the recommended procedures, in doing so may prevent problems. You should first create a DVD compliant video from your project. If you try to create a disc with a project in the timeline, then problems can occur.
Render the project (all the wmv) to NTSC or PAL DVD. Then start a new project. Now without placing anything on the timeline, go to Share-Create Disc. Then import the newly created (PAL or NTSC DVD) file. Then you can create chapter points, menus, etc.. and burn the video to disc, or Create DVD Folders, or and ISO file (if you want to make more then 1 copy of the disc).
Regards..

Sorry to do it to you again, Vidoman, but I think I need to clarify the main point of your message. You said: "You should first create a DVD compliant video from your project." By 'video', Vidoman means a video ++file++. And in the next paragraph, by "Render the project", he means that, with your project in the timeline, you should be first going to Share > ++Create Video File++ and then selecting the DVD option. But DVD in this case means that you will in fact be producing a DVD-compliant mpeg-2 file and NOT a disc. This is the 'video' that Vidoman was referring to. And then, as he suggested, once you have produced that, then you close your project, and then click on Share > Create Disc > DVD (and here it means a DVD disc), and you insert the DVD-compliant mpeg-2 you have just produced, and burn the disc.
You need also to be aware that a lot of people have difficulty with converting projects in WMV format. Trying to burn a disc directly from a project using WMV will only complicate that process a lot more.
