Texture patterns

I have finally gotten around to trying to figure out how to use the Video Paint program that came with my version of MSP. I've been looking at an interesting filter called Animation Texture. According to the manual, there should be some texture patterns in a section of the filter dialog called "Pattern". That section (the manual calls it a "group box") is there, but there are no patterns.

So, I'm wondering where these patterns are or should be. Did they not get installed, are they hiding on the installation CD somewhere, should they be downloaded, were they overlooked when the package was put together, or is it a feature that never quite made it into the released version?
