Cannot set Mpeg parameters error. HELP

Hi all

First time on the forums. Nice to meet you all

Im using Videostudio 9 and ive come against a problem that is stopping me from finishing my project.

when i try to capture from my video camara an error comes up saying Cannot set Mpeg Parameters. Any ideas out there.

Ive had no problems with the software before.

You need to tell us lots more: what is the camera you are capturing from -- both its model and whether it is digital or analogue? How is it connected to your computer? What operating system is on your computer? What are the specifications of your computer? At the very least, if your camera is a mini-DV one, you should not normally be trying to capture direct to mpeg format in the first place, but to DV format, and using a Firewire cable to do so... But give us the above information first, and we can proceed from there...
