Speeding up and slowing down clips

Is it possible to speed up certain clips in VS9 to get a fast forward effect and to slow down other clips, to get a slow motion effect on a project. I would be very grateful for any feedback.

I am now on my third project and would like to try something different.

About one third the way down the left hand side of the Edit screen, there is a 'Playback Speed' button which should do what you want.

Thanks for your very prompt reply, when I hit the edit tab, the only options I have are project duration and preview range. These are the only 2 options I have, it does not mention anything about playback speed.

Please ignore my previous comment, I found that I was still on project view and not clip view. I found the playback speed. Just the dumb blonde coming out in me.
