Buiilt in Player for MSPRO 8.0

Post by mathis »

Hello, all.
I purchased MSP 8.0 November 5, 2005. I just rendered a video clip and it previewed it at the end, but a scrolling text bar went across the screen that said visit http://www.moolight.co.il to register the player and it put a four-square box in it and the box jumped around. The scrolling text said that it's an Elecard logo. The scolling text also said that it was put there by the player. I attempted to go to the website but it doesn't exist any more.

I also clicked on "View" then "Play Clip" and got the same message.

Has anyone else had this happen and what can I do to just have it preview after render in Windows Media Player or Nero Showtime?

Thanks.

This has nothing to do with MSP8. You have downloaded, at some time, an Elecard MPEG codec set/player, which has taken over your computer. IMHO, get rid of it. Some of these codec sets are almost worse than viruses and can upset honest-to-goodness video work.

Thanks, Devil, I just found Moonlight XMuxer Pro in my Add/Remove Programs. Last used 1-28-06. Don't recall doing that at all. And I found the program in my list. Ran it and it doesn't look familiar at all.

Thanks again!
