Is there anyway to make the length of my 2 minute slideshow fit with the length of my 4 minute mp3 song?
1st post, but this place is a great wealth of knowledge!

With Video Studio, the only way of which I am aware is to divide 4 minutes by the number of photos you have in your slideshow, and set the duration of each slide to stay on screen for that figure. But of course you have to take into account that if you have too few slides, then the duration of each may be far too long for the audience; and on the other, if you have a lot (unlikely in a 2 minute slideshow, I realise) the duration could be too short.
With the matching production end program, Movie Factory 4, there is simply a box you check to get the slideshow to match the length of the background music. I sometimes might have 20 minute slideshows, so rather than have the same music play over and over again, I join several pieces of music together in Nero's wave editor, so that it becomes one, and then match my slideshow to that...
