Hi All
I have created some Flash movies using Macromedia Captivate which run fine with my Version 7 Flash Player.
When I insert the Flash movie into VS9 all I get is the first slide in the original Flash file. I am not using any compression when creating the Flash movie in Captivate.
All swf files shipped with VS9 play successfully in VS9 and Flash Player V7.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi David,
I've found that you must have more then one frame on the main timeline in Flash movies. If you are using Movie Clips (sprites) and say have it placed on Frame 1, then in your MC you may have an animation that runs 200 frames. VS9 will only see and play the 1st frame of your main timeline.
Also VS9 does not play scripted animation. It is pretty much Object Oriented.
So try on the main timeline placing a stop on a frame equal to the last frame of your animation...
You might also make a copy of the animations used in VS9, and import them into MM Captivate to see how they are constructed.
