Stop frame animation and VS9

Post by Lymers »

I've been experimenting with some simple stop frame animation. I've been shooting stills on my camcorder and then loading them into VS9's image section as .jpg's. Dragging these onto timeline gives each image a duration of 3s. Anyone know if this can be altered so I can acheive a much higher fps rate (without altering the time of each picture individually !!)

Cheers

If you want to do it AFTER you have inserted the images to the timeline - click on the first one - go to the last one and hold down Shift as you select it - this should select all images in between. Now click on 'Clip' (top left corner) and choose "Change Image/Color Duration" - set the new time in the 'timecode' window which opens .

If you want to do it BEFORE you insert the images - Click on "File" then choose "Preferences" in the new dialogue window which opens click on the "edit" tab at the top - then set a new "default inserted image/color clip duration" in the appropriate box.
