Please don't purchase this software (Too late I see lol)

I have the bundled version of DVD Movie Factory 3 and it's worthless.
The program tends to freeze during video capture. The dual layer patch DVD MovieFactory 3.0 DL Support Pack (Release Date: 2004/11/03) is unable to find the installation. The DVD MovieFactory 3.0 Update Pack (Build ID: 300P01, Release Date: 2004/06/03) creates a nonresponsive condition when trying to select the next button prior to video capture.

From reading the forum post I can see that I'm not alone. The capture wizard software seems to function properly but I was hoping for a little more functionality. I am very disappointed in Ulead. My one saving grace is that I didnt pay extra for the program since it's a bundled version.

I would very much appreciate it if someone would recommend a stable capture program that works with my ADS DVD express converter.

Capwiz is the best capture software for the DVD Express (imho).

There is an update patch on ADS Tech's support pages for capture using MF3 (the bundled version they include with the unit).

Capture using CapWiz, then import them into MF3 for DVD Authoring.

Not all the updates on Ulead's site will work with your "lite" version of MF3. ADS Tech provides it in their bundle to get you started, and for the cost, it's actually a very good application/combination with the DVD Express (imho).

The patch didn't work for me.

For the DVD MovieFactory 3.0 DL Support Pack, had you only bothered to read the description... you wouldn't have to to through the trouble of downloading it. The DL patches can only be installed for the full version.
