DVD MOVIE FACTORY 4.0 HELP PLZ

hi i dont understand what is wrong on my computer, but when authoring a dvd its as the conversion stage of the file/s im converting to compliant dvd format, the conversion takes around 10 hours for a 40 min long clip, now i recently restored my computer and so had to reinstall all my programs again but before this it took around 1 hour to do the same job, please help this is the best program out there for this, nero always goes out of sync.

thanks anyway peeps, its fixed again now, just installed a ton of all the latest codecs:), worked a charm.
