Playing .mpg file

Using UV8 I recently created a DVD which plays fine on the following players: WMP; Sonic CinePlayer; RealPlayer and ATI DVD. I saved the mpg file and when I try to play it driectly from the hard drive, it will only play on the CinePlayer and ATI; WMP and RealPlayer play at an excelerated speed and I can't find a way to slow it down to normal. Does anyone have an explanation for this? It isn't a big problem, I'm just curious. The only difference in this mpg file and others I have saved on hard drive and which play fine on all four players is that I added audio to my captured video before rendering the mpg file. Thanks for any enlightenment on this.
