Using Microphone input with MF

Hi all,

I'm new to this DVD creating stuff but I'm trying to convert VHS to DVD. My capture card using the microphone jack for audio input. Is there any way to get MF to recognise this. On other programs I've seen an option enabling the user to select from microphone or line-in. I haven't seen this option on MF and the sound just won't record.

Is it possible to do this? If not could somebody recommend other software that would be better?
