Film as background for tiltleclip

Post by miae »

I come from germany and so my english is not so good, but I try. ^^

My problem is:

I want put this, what I wrote into my film. But if I create a Titleclip the Background is not the film, only white or other colors I can choose. How I get my film for background, so I can see for example: "Hey all" and in the background I see my holidays or something else?

I hope you understand what I wrote. thx

p.s.: I've Ulead Media Studio Pro 7.0

Miae,

Try putting your film clip in the Va track and your title in the V1 track. Line them up so that the title starts where you want it to in the clip. If this doesn't work be sure to post again.

yeah, thank you bandit, it works.

But now I've another question:

If I want work with pictures there is a problem, that faces for example get fat. Not really fat, but (how you say that in English??? ^^) they are going in the wide. (can you say that???)
Better: the left part goes to the left side and the right part of the face goes to the right side.
What can I do, that the face stays original, like on the picture???
oh shiiiiit. I've to learn better English.

maie,

I will have to go to my editing computer and try and replicate your problem. I do not use my editing computer on the internet because it does not take much off a virus to mess things up. I may be able to reply in the next few hours. It is 1am Sunday here. Your English while not exactly perfect is just fine . I have spoken English my entire life and it is far from perfect :)

miae,
when you import a picture, in the 'insert image file' dialog box, look in the bottom left corner where it says 'keep original size with moving path automatically'. Not sure the wording in the German version, but it is the only check box in this dialog box. Make sure this is ticked.

Greg,

Thanks man. I had forgotten to reply to miae. I have a post (MediaStudio Pro) titled "Lost audio - deadline looming". Would you check it out and tell me what you think. I'm still without audio. Thanks
