Clip encoded with Nero Video En/Decoder not viewed

Hello,

I noticed that all video clips encoded with Nero Video En/Decoder cannot be viewed when placed on timeline. The Preview Main Timeline window is black but the audio is ok. The same clip is correctly viewed in Source Window, Windows MediaPlayer, ...

I think Nero uses a proprietry codec to encode. From memory Nero doesn't give you a choice to encode with a different codec. Looks like MSP8 doesn't fully support the codec. There is some software you can use to find out what codec your video file is using. It's called GSpot. Funny name, I know.
There may be a way to install another codec into MSP8 in order for it to play the file properly, but it would just be trial and error.
Maybe someone out there knows the fix??
