Audio Mixer: How to quickly apply settings to all tracks?

Hi. I am trying to change the balance on two stereo audio tracks so that the Balance of Aa is 100% Left and Ab 100% Right. Since the Help file is quite vague on using the included Audio Mixer, through trial and error, I have found that if I click the bottom Auto Write icon for each, Play the tracks (in Audio Mixer) and finally click the Apply icon after stopping, the settings will be applied ONLY to the time I played Audio Mixer. I want to Apply the mixer settings to the entire audio timeline but seem to be drawing a blank doing this.

FYI: There doesn't seem to be a Audio Filter to do this simple mixing function and after completing the above operation there is no special applied filter that is configurable whereas I could change the duration from the duration played in Audio Mixer to the length of the entire timeline.

Please, if someone can help I'd certainly appreciate it!

Seems I am answering my own question. I found a quick fix! First, adjust Ruler Unit to Fit in Window, then drag the length of the timeline to only 5 or 10 seconds, in Audio Mixer click the Auto Write icon, click Play in Audio Mixer till it stops (remember, it's now only seconds), Click the Apply icon, return the Timeline to it's original length, and the Audio Mixer settings (for some odd reason) are applied to the entire timeline. Go figure! If there is a more correct procedure, please let me know! For now this works!
