Burning 16:9

Post by blakelyc »

Hi folks:

I've seen conversations about this scattered around, but I didn't find anything that directly pertained to my problem.

I have DV Video shot at 16:9 (not HD) that I have imported and edited in MSP. The rendered movie (MPEG) looks fine, and is 16:9 when played back using Windows Media Player, et. al.

When I import that movie in to DVD Workshop and try to burn it, on playback the video is horribly horizontally stretched (far more than 16:9). This happens when viewing the DVD via a DVD player on a tv, both 4:3 and 16:9, and also when using Windows Media Player.

Any thoughts? It was suggested to me earlier that I should NOT check the "convert to dic template" option.

Thanks!

In DVD WS, what have you got for Output Display Options (I might have the wording wrong -- just going by memory).
