No audio

I just purchased and installed MovieMaker4 on my P4 Win XP. I am trying to capture video from a Sony CCD-TRV608 NTSC HandyCam. The video feed comes out OK but I can't get audio. I have tried patching from the audio out jack on the camera to the injack on the SB Audigy soundcard, but nothing. I can't find any answers in the user's guide, and really don't have any idea what to do next. Could someone please lend me a hand?

Is "line-in" on the PC perhaps muted?

What are you using for a capture device? ...My video capture card has both audio & video inputs.
