For some weeks now MF will not burn DVDs for me. I can set up the menus for the file and everything else but when it comes time to actually burn the DVD, the "Record to Disc" option is not available. It's greyed out. It does allow me to create DVD folders or a disc image. I've had movie factory for two or three years and have always used the "Record to Disc" option.
I had another problem with MF some months back and I solved that problem by removing Nero's InCD. I did that yesterday but the problem persists. I installed MF on a second computer running WinXP that also has Nero and MF works fine on that system. So I'm puzzled as to what's going on with it on this system. Any suggestions will be much appreciated.
The DVD burners in use are the Pioneer DVR-105 and the BenQ DW1655.

I think you are on the right track when you mentioned Nero InCD.
Check to see if you have any other "Packet Writing Software" if so you need to disable it.
Packet writing software is software that allows you to use a CD/DVD as though it was another hard drive where you can drag and drop things onto the disc from windows explorer.
