delay frames on timeline VS9

HI!

I recently got VS9. Sofar I worked with VS 6 and I was satisfied.
I have trouble with VS9: when I put video in timeline (e.g. 1minute mpeg - small not large), and I want to from one frame to another frame it takes a long time (5sec or more) to change the frame and show it to me. Also when I look at task manager in my computer sometimes it shows for 2sec that VS9 doesn't responding.

I have new computer P4 3.0 GHz and 1GB RAM so this shouldn't be a hardware problem.

You may have a corrupt MPEG file, have you tried any other clips?
