little black bar on right hand side when capturing

Please help,
When i capture i always get this small thin balck bar on the side of my video. I am using firewire, a panasonic dx100 cam. Any help?

Is your original video source analog (going through a DV conversion), or is the video source actual dv video from a dv camcorder?

If it's analog, then what you are seeing could be the "Overscan" thin line at the outer edges...

My input is coming form advdcam, which i thik is digital (not really full bottle on this).

Is it at the outer edge?
