I keep trying to render a bunch of AVI files that are just a little under 1 GB, but every time one of them gets to about 87-98% complete an error pops up saying this:
Insufficient disk space. Only partial data has been saved.

I have plenty of disk space on all my drives (like over 50GB on each), my PC specs are: P4 3.2GHz, and 1GB RAM.
I thought maybe checking the option that says: "Cache image clips in memory" would solve the problem but it did'nt.
Insuffieient disk space error

Now we need to know what version of Video Studio you are using... This is because the files you are manipulating -- DivX -- are in fact mpeg-4 files using the AVI carrier format. Only VS9 is supposed to be able to manipulate mpeg-4 files, and then only with the mpeg-4 plug-in which is available free to registered users of the full version of VS9. Apparently you could use another version if you are just capturing, doing no editing and outputting to exactly the same format. But in your case, you are changing the internal format of the DivX, and this is possibly the source of your problem. Why it comes up with a space error, though, I cannot say. VS occasionally does, however, come up with an error message which bears little resemblance to the real problem...
