Cutting out scenes in VS 9.

Post by raygo »

I'm a bit new to this so bear with me.

can someone tell me how to remove a scene in multi trim video?
When I click "Invert" I get a clip displayed but not sure which way keeps or discards it, or is there a better way to remove a scene from a clip..

i dont do it like that. i just play the movie and use the in and out markers for what i want to keep. play through the bit you want to discard and mark in again where you want to start the next bit. you can do this all the way through the movie and then play to make sure it is ok.
this is the only way i can explain it.

Hi Harperv,

The clips between the Mark-in /Mark-out are kept, unless you invert. If you choose invert then those are discarded..
