Help.. I can't click 'Next'

Post by miranda2005 »

Hi, I just got the software and a PVR. I made a VHS tape in to a MPG file and want to burn it to DVD. I open the ULEAD program and I setup the program with the settings, load the video, but NEXT is not available for me to click to advance to the nexrt screen. All I get is cancel. I am pretty confident I had all the settings correct, but I just can't continue. Has this happened to anyone before...? What do I do?
Thanks,
Matt

You will only get the "Next" button to click once you have completed the current step. Something is still missing.

Hi,
If you only have one video on the timeline and
have the BOX "Play This Clip As Introductory Video" checked ON then
the "Next" button is greyed out until you import another video or
un-check that box.

The box is on the left side directly above the timeline where the video clips are displayed.

Hope this helps,

MD

I've got a similar problem.

I installed the patch, and while it still says I'm using MovieFactory 3 SE, it looks totally different. I open it up, select create video disc, tell it to create a new dvd project. Then it brings up a large screen with three options in the top lefthand corner: Start Project, Edit Disc, and Direct to Disc. I have the next option, but clicking it does nothing. It just clicks and stays on the screen.

These patches do absolutely nothing. I'm not sure which is better, it not working when I reinstall it, or it not working in a different way when I install the patch.

I had the same problem. Here's my solution. Dont install the patches. They are worthless even when you can get them to install.

Here's is what another member instructed me to do.

Use the Cap Wiz for video capture and import files to DVD movie factory to edit.

Dont use the DVD MF to capture unless you got a version that doesnt freeze during encoding.

I suggest that Ulead change their name because the other thing they lead in is making poor software. Good Luck.

haithcom, please understand that bundled software with hardware devices tend to be "lite" versions. The patches on Ulead's site apply to FULL versions (some are more general and can be applied to "lite" versions as well). Also, there are many hardware mpeg encoders that bundle Ulead software -- so CapWiz might work for you (because you have an ADS Tech device that uses that utility), but it might not work for someone else who has a different piece of hardware.

For software/driver updates for your specific software bundle, you could try to go to ADS Tech's support pages
www.adstech.com

Your suggestion for Ulead to change their name is uncalled for...

Regards,
George
