"Fit & Burn" - How far can you stretch the bou

Post by zimmebr »

Have managed to resolve my issues from a few days ago (in that I've gotten around the file size issue), and now am ready to burn my first dvd.

My blank DVD says "120 min" or "4.7GB", now forgive my ignorance (talk to me like an infant in giving help), does this mean either/or, or what? Using the "recommended procedure" as obtained on this forum, my MPEG video file is now >4.7GB (ie ~5.5 GB), but only 82 minutes long.

Should I "Fit & Burn", or will that make me lose signficant quality?

How far can you stretch the limit when fiting & burning?

Cheers
